COURSE INFORMATION

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled class start time, for advanced courses such as PALS and ACLS you will need to complete a pre course assessment. Print your results or take a picture and bring in to class. Students should have their book prior to course, study and be prepared for the training. Course books are required for all courses, renewal or original, students are encouraged to obtain the book before class and read it.

LATE FEE & RESCHEDULING

Students have until 15 after the class start time to arrive on time, late students may be assess a late Fee of 45.00 applied to their bill. To reschedule please call the morning before you class, or you may me assessed a 45.00 fee.

PALS MANDATORY PRECOURSE MATERIAL

Before you come to your scheduled PALS course, the American Heart Association has made it mandatory that you complete the PALS Self Assessment and Pre-Test and score a 70% or higher to participate in the PALS Course. Last minute registrations will cause a problem as students will not have enough time to complete the precourse materials and may have to be rescheduled in order to participate fully in the course.

This assessment can only be taken on a PC Mac/Win, you are required to print out your results and bring them with you to class to present them to your instructor. failure to do so may require your class be rescheduled until you are compliant.

We have also included the link below to the American Heart Association’s Student Website. Please enter the code, “compression” in the box that you find on the webpage, then complete the test, and then print out the page with your score and bring it to your class.
