How Long is CPR Class?

2.5 to three hours depending on the number of students. students may be on there knees performing CPR, please inform your instructor of any physical limitations you may have.

What is the difference between ACLS, BLS, and PALS?

What is the difference between ACLS, BLS, and PALS?
BLS is the foundation of ACLS. ACLS Providers are normally Paramedics, Doctors, Nurses they are trained to give life saving medications.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is geared towards healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

How to become an CPR instructor?

What should i wear to CPR Class?

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to class. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting. If you have any physical condition that might prevent you from engaging in these activities, please tell an instructor. The instructor may be able to adjust the equipment if you have back, knee, or hip problems.

Will you come to my office to teach?

When should I renew my certification?

Please take note of the recommended renewal date on your provider card as long as your card is current you can enroll in an refresher course rather than an original course. Yout must have a current active card to enroll in a refresher or renewal course.

I have a Military MTN BLS Card will my employer accept this?

Your employer may request you get an official card from a local training center; however, the MTN BLS Provider is equivalent to the Civilian BLS Program.

What is FP-C and CCT-C certifications?
