This email serves as a one-week reminder that there will be a minimal price adjustment to the suggested retail price (SRP) for the majority of American Heart Association CPR, first aid, and emergency cardiovascular care (ECC) training materials effective July 1, 2026. The price change will affect both print and digital training materials available for purchase through our website.

We make SRP adjustments on ECC training materials annually. The yearly price update ensures that the organization continues to provide high-quality and updated, science-based training materials to meet your training needs as well as maintain customer satisfaction. 

Please note the following about pricing for CPR, first aid, and ECC materials:

• Recently, the Heart Association has seen manufacturing costs significantly increase for USBs and DVDs.
  • This will impact pricing effective July 1 for 2025 Instructor Essentials-related USBs for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED®. We do have lower cost options such as the 2025 Instructor Essentials Digital Videos to help meet your budgeting needs. The manufacturing costs will not impact the pricing of USBs that are part of our other products.
  • The SRPs for DVDs for the course lines – BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Heartsaver – will have an above average pricing adjustment starting July 1.
• A price adjustment for the Heart Association’s line of HeartCode® products also will be included in the annual SRP adjustment effective July 1.
